Global Warming or Global Cooling
63
The global warming debate among scientists continues, even though some say it is over. Could the global warming concerns be a repeat of the global cooling concerns of the 70's, when temperature was falling. Some scientists say the global warming crowd is seeking grant money to stay employed. Other scientists say the temperature has been considerably hotter in the past than it is today and that the sun has a greater influence on earths temperature than carbon dioxide which is only found as trace element, only 0.038%, among the green houses gases. Water vapor makes up 95% of the green house gas and has much more influence on global warming.
It's Been Hotter Before
According to some scientists the global temperature has been considerably warmer in the past. The 2000 year global temperature chart shows the temperature variations for the last 2000 years and at several points you can see it's been much warmer.

Sunspots and Global Warming
There is a number of scientist who say that sunspots have a stronger correlation to temperature changes than carbon dioxide. The chart below shows carbon dioxide on the increase, but sunspots and temperature changing together.

Earth's Cooling Trend Since 1998
Since carbon dioxide has been increasing at a steady pace, but what accounts for the temperature cooling trend this last decade. The chart below shows carbon dioxide increasing, but the temperature decreasing. This has many of the scientists questioning the carbon dioxide rational. But if you look at the sunspot charts, sunspots have been on the decline also.

John Coleman, who founded the weather channel, along with 30,000 other scientists have sued Al Gore to begin an open debate on the subject. Al Gore and the mainstream media refuses to debate or discuss the other views. I have become somewhat skeptical now of Global Warming. What do you think?
